There are certain moments where you can feel things starting to come full circle.
This is one of them.
We’d like you to meet Rundle — the newest member of our Spreading Pawsitivity Pack.
Why This Matters to Us
Before Summit Dogwear was ever a business, it was just our life.
And at the center of that was Summit.
He wasn’t just a good dog — he was a service dog who changed everything for us. The kind of impact that’s hard to explain unless you’ve lived it. The kind that shifts your entire perspective on what these dogs are capable of.
At some point, that experience stopped being something we were just grateful for…
and started becoming something we felt responsible for.
We knew we wanted to find a way to pass that forward.
What We’ve Been Working Toward
Over the years, we’ve tried to support that mission however we could.
We’ve worked alongside Pacific Assistance Dogs Society, contributed where possible, and built gear that could stand up to the demands of working dogs.
But if we’re being honest, it always felt like we were still on the outside looking in.
Like we were close to the mission—but not fully in it yet.
Rundle
Rundle(named after Mount Rundle in Banff National Park) is the moment that changes that.
Through our partnership with PADS, Rundle is beginning her journey toward becoming a service dog. One day, he’ll be placed with someone who needs him—and he’ll go on to have the same kind of impact that Summit had on us.
That’s what this is about.
Not a campaign.
Not an announcement.
Just a real step forward in something we’ve cared about for a long time.
Something You’re Part Of
There’s also something important that needs to be said here.
This didn’t happen in isolation.
If you’ve supported Summit Dogwear in any way over the years—whether that was buying something, sharing a post, or even just following along—you’ve played a role in getting us to this point.
We don’t take that lightly.
Rundle exists within this story because there’s been a group of people behind this brand from the beginning.
What Comes Next
We don’t have some big polished roadmap to share here.
What we do know is this:
Rundle is the first step in building something that we hope continues to grow over time—a pack of dogs who will go on to change lives in real, tangible ways.
We’ll keep showing up, doing the work, and sharing the journey as it unfolds.
